Dashmi Rani C J is a dynamic leader and adventurer dedicated to education, social service, and breaking stereotypes. As Vice Principal of Sri Chaitanya Techno School, she is a professional educator shaping the lives of many. Her multifaceted journey reflects her passions as a biker, civic leader, and Corona warrior, making a significant impact in society.
Dashmi's biking journey started in 2015 with her first geared bike, an Avenger 150cc, which later grew to include the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650cc (2019) and Himalayan Scram 411cc (2022). Her first solo ride, a 650 km journey to Sringeri in a single day, marked the beginning of a remarkable riding career.
Notable adventures include the Kanyakumari-to-Kashmir ride (11 days), a challenging solo ride to Kolkata (3 days), and two solo expeditions to Ladakh. Additionally, she has explored Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Uttarakhand, all on her bike. Dashmi has also conquered 30 mountain treks, including the Chaadar Trek in Ladakh’s Himalayas, traversing the frozen Zanskar River in -35°C.
Dashmi integrates her passion for riding with social causes, participating in awareness rallies for women’s empowerment, autism, environmental conservation, and breast cancer. A committed volunteer, she provides personal hygiene talks for girls in government schools and actively participates in marathons. During the COVID-19 pandemic, as a Corona Warrior, she covered 3,000 km on her bike, delivering emergency medicines, groceries, and sanitary pads to remote villages..
Her accolades include the Bengaluru Youth Icon Award (2018), BPAC BCLIP Civic Leader Certification (2019), Educator Excellence Award (2020), and recognition in the India Book of Records for completing the Kanyakumari-to-Kashmir ride in 105 hours (2022). For Dashmi, biking is more than a passion—it is her meditation and a path to self-discovery. She truly embodies strength, resilience, and inspiration.
